The 2020 Chevy Equinox is offered in four trims, including the L, LS, LT, and Premier. Two engines are available for the crossover. The standard engine is a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine while a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine offered as a more powerful option. The base engine is mated with a six-speed automatic transmission and the optional engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The base trim is only available with front-wheel drive. While front-wheel drive is standard on the higher trims, all-wheel drive is optional on all models except the L trim.

The crossover is also outfitted with some advanced safety and driver-assistive features, such as automatic high beams and a forward collision warning and intervention system, among others. As you probably guessed, the higher trims come with even more standard features.
